A New Part, A New World
Steel Ball Run marks a significant evolution for the series, full of surprises to the formula. We’re in a brand-new continuity taking place in the Wild West, but certain names are suspiciously similar to characters from the previous parts.
Though initially serialized through Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 2004, Steel Ball Run and the rest of the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure manga have since moved to the monthly Ultra Jump, where the series remains a global hit. Steel Ball Run concluded in April 2011, with 95 chapters in total.
The series will be released globally on Netflix in 2026. A specific release date has yet to be announced.
