Breaking news from the Deepspace Times! Calling all hunters in California, a Love and Deepspace (LaDS) event is coming to Fullerton on October 26 from 1 – 5 pm PT at Feng Cha Teahouse to celebrate Xavier’s birthday and give fans a space to rave about the game!
Xavier's Birthday Event
This event is run by Love and Deepsleeves, a Southern California-based nonprofit and fan-run cup sleeves and events group known for hosting meetups, activations, and other fan events. They recently hosted the Deep Space Café in collaboration with Summoner’s Stories, where attendees could interact with the love interests from Love and Deepspace, eat tasty food, explore the artist alley, have photo ops, and even play games from within the game, such as Kitty Cards and the Claw Machine. Summoner’s Stories, also a nonprofit California-based fan-run organization, is known for hosting anime and game-themed events. These two organizations often collaborate and partner up for events, creating memorable activations, panels, and experiences for fans to enjoy. In fact, they’ll be partnering up again for a special Love and Deepspace panel at Anime Expo Chibi!
Additionally, Xavier’s birthday event attendees will have many LaDS-themed activities and some bonus Halloween-themed activities to choose from. From defeating wanders to creating a picture-perfect bouquet fit for a prince, there’s something for everyone. You can find a complete activity list on their Instagram!
This event doesn’t require RSVPing; however, everything is while supplies last, so depending on crowd sizes, certain things such as the cup sleeves, raffle tickets, and other goodies may go quickly. They offer donation tier options to pre-order a cup sleeve to ensure you receive one as well. The last day to pre-order is October 24 at 11:59 pm. About Love and Deepspace
Love and Deepspace is a game developed by Infold. It is set in a sci-fi world where you play as the female main character (MC), trying to navigate a mysterious illness while also being a rising hunter. With dazzling cutscenes that immerse you in the story, this 3D dating sim gives players a great balance of action, romance, adventure, and comedy. The game currently features four potential love interests: Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, and Sylus, each with their own unique backstory and charms. Fans can delve further into each character’s lore by leveling up and unlocking memory cards.
This special event is for Xavier, the MC’s hunting partner, coworker, neighbor, and love interest? Um, let’s just say things are complicated in Linkon City. When he’s not off fighting wanderers or being roped into the MC’s crazy plans, he is more than likely sleeping. This self-proclaimed gentleman may look like a cinnamon roll and is nice, but don’t be fooled. He has a mysterious past and is known to disappear for days at a time. His behavior can be so weird at times… It’s almost as if he were from a different planet.
