From Monday, June 10 through Sunday, June 16 a special 90-second-long One Piece anime activation created specifically for the Exosphere, the exterior of Sphere Las Vegas, will be shown in celebration of the 25th anniversary of One Piece.
One Piece Franchise
For the past 25 years, fans have treasured One Piece for its captivating story, unique characters, and rich world-building. One Piece is a Japanese manga series created by Eiichiro Oda and produced by Toei Animation. The narrative revolves around Monkey D. Luffy, a young, determined pirate on a dangerous quest to find the legendary treasure known as ONE PIECE and become the King of the Pirates.
From its 1100 ongoing episodes, 15 feature films, video games, Netflix live-action adaptation, and trading card game to its ever-expanding catalog of licensed merchandise, the One Piece franchise has much to celebrate!
Toei Animation’s Las Vegas Takeover Party
On June 11th, Toei Animation hosted a very special “takeover” party at the Linq. Guests met executives and producers from the Toei Animation team and experienced an exclusive viewing of the One Piece sphere activation 550 feet high from the High Roller, the largest observation wheel in North America. That night, for four hours straight, the One Piece activation was the only third-party content displayed on the Exosphere, letting everyone in Las Vegas know that the Pirates had arrived in full force. Guests were even surprised by a special guest appearance from Kazuki Yao, Franky’s Japanese voice actor.

This activation made history as the first Japanese content featured on the Exosphere. But wait, there’s more to celebrate! The new global One Piece English-language YouTube channel has officially soft-launched. This channel is dedicated to English-speaking fans around the world and will provide them with the latest news and updates. It will also include exclusive content that cannot be found anywhere else!
