Aniplex Online Fest is back with a jam-packed roster for 2023! The online experience, hosted by Aniplex, Inc. and co hosted by Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc., began in 2020. It is the company’s online convention where they reveal news regarding upcoming projects. There are also voice actor appearances and live performances for fans to enjoy.

Aniplex is a big name in the anime world and has been on the scene since 1995. Their animation studio, A-1 Pictures, has produced several popular series over the years, including The Seven Deadly Sins, Your Lie in April, and Sword Art Online, just to name a few. The company is also a distributor of many other shows and has moved into video game publishing within the last decade as well.
Aniplex Online Fest 2023 will take place in person at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, Japan, and will stream in both Japanese and English on September 10th starting at 12pm JST on Aniplex’s official Youtube channel. For fans in the US, it will air on Saturday September 9th at 8pm PDT.
Aniplex released an official trailer and a key visual by Haruko Iizuka (character designer for Horimiya) for the event, and announced a number of participating franchises that fans can expect to learn more information about on the official festival website.

The official website for the event also provides a full list of voice actor attendees, including Nobuhiko Okamoto (Blue Exorcist), Chiaki Kobayashi (MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES), and Kaito Ishikawa (Rascal Does Not Dream Series), among many others. Some will be appearing in person, while others will make video appearances. Performers at the live concert include okazakitaiiku, KANA-BOON feat. Yuho Kitazawa, Shoko Nakagawa, and Philosophy no Dance, with a DJ performance by DJ Kazu.
