Season five of Bungo Stray Dogs is under way with its fourth episode airing this week. In the coming episode, titled “Hero War, Gang War,” audiences will meet a new character, Bram Stoker. Kenjiro Tsuda has been announced to be the Japanese voice of Bram, the next member of the Decay of Angels group.
Kenjiro Tsuda
Kenjiro Tsuda is a Japanese voice actor. His previous roles include Kento Nanami (Jujutsu Kaisen), Kishibe (Chainsaw Man), Tsuchigomori (Toilet Bound Hanako Kun), and Overhaul (My Hero Academia). He will be joining the Japanese cast of Bungo Stray Dogs as Bram.
According to IMDb, Kenjiro Tsuda is credited with portraying 279 characters in a variety of anime, live-action, video games, and more. Now, he will add Bram to the impressive list of characters.
Bram Stoker is a vampire. The real life Bram Stoker is responsible for writing the 1897 Gothic horror novel, Dracula. Kafka Asagiri creates complex characters that are named after famous authors from around the world. In this case, Bram’s special ability will be related to the novel in which the author is most known.
Bungo Stray Dogs
Bungo Stray Dogs began airing in 2016 and is based on the manga of the same name by Kafka Asagiri. The story follows the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia, two organizations of people with supernatural abilities that work to protect Yokohama in their own ways. Season four aired in January of 2023, and the Japanese sub of season five began on July 5th.
The English dub of season five started on July 12th. New episodes are released every Wednesday, with the English dub of each episode two weeks behind. Audiences can stream episodes of Bungo Stray Dogs on Crunchyroll.
