Attack on Titan Final Seasons Trailer Makes a Rumble at Anime Expo

What’s that rumble in the distance? It must be the newest trailer for the final season of Attack on Titan!

While not the longest teaser to be released this season, it did give us a brief glimpse into the typical vivaciousness and intensity we have all come to love from AoT. With no set date, they have confirmed a target release period in the Fall of 2023. The last special was released a few months ago, in March, and was well received by fans and a chart-topper for Crunchyroll.

Convention-goers, over the weekend at Anime Expo Los Angeles, were the first to see the trailer during the MAPPA and Crunchyroll! panel. The film will continue to detail the plight of humanity, forced to retreat to the safety of their towering walls, which may not suffice to stave off the Titans, no matter how massive and fortified. Only the courageous members of the Scout Regiment dare to tread beyond the threshold of their walls, and few seldom return alive or whole.

In the final special, the fate of the world rests in the hands of Eren, as he has undertaken the mission of unleashing the ultimate power of the Titans. As he leads a massive army of Titans toward Marley, he is determined to eliminate all those who threaten Eldia. A crew of his former enemies and comrades have banded together to halt the onslaught and will stop at nothing to deter him from this deadly mission.

Attack on Titan is a great gateway anime, binge-worthy, and a fan favorite that has aired for over a decade. Even though it will be sad to see it come to a conclusion, it will be your last chance to see beyond the walls and know the world outside. I know I don’t want to die without knowing what’s out there!

Remember: If you win, you live. If you lose, you die. If you don’t fight, you can’t win. If you don’t watch this fall, you will miss out on the historic closure of one of the most celebrated anime series of all time!
