During last Thursday’s television special of the anime adaptation of Sōsuke Tōka’s manga, Ranking of Kings, it was announced that a brand new film has been green-lit!
Tōka has been serializing the manga on Echoes’ user submitted manga site, called Manga Hack as far back as May 2017, with the anime by WIT Studios making its debut in October 2021. During that time, the anime ran for two continuous cour, which can be streamed on Funimation and Crunchyroll, with their recent collection of episodes known as The Treasure Chest of Courage.
Crunchyroll describes the anime as such:
"Deaf, non-speaking, and unable to wield a sword, Prince Bojji doesn’t seem like a typical heir, and his kingdom agrees. As his brother plots to take over, Bojji allies with an outcast creature named Kage—who believes in him like no one has before."
