Can’t wait another month for new BLEACH episodes? Well, pack your bags. It’s time to go to Japan!
On June 25, an early screening of the first two episodes of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) will be released in Japan. The franchise released the name of the second part, The Separation, along with a new visual featuring Ichigo with his latest two-blade zanpakuto.
With this second cour, the Thousand Year Blood War arc will reach its halfway point. So far, the teasers and trailers have shown fans there will be a divide between Ichigo and Uryu, a friend who has joined him on most of his journeys as a substitute soul reaper. Tite Kubo, the manga’s creator, said in a recent interview that this part will feature a fight between two “certain characters.” According to Kubo, the battle was not featured in the original manga, so all BLEACH fans are in for a surprise with this installment.
While fans outside Japan may not get their own early release, there’s only about a month to wait for new episodes. You can watch BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War on Hulu.
