Welcome back, Trainers, for another Pokémon Go Community Day announcement!
We hope you’re stocking up on pokeballs because on Saturday, April 15th, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time, trainers and Pokémon masters across the globe will be on the hunt for shiny Togetic, the happiness Pokémon!
Remember, you have up to 5 hours after the event to evolve Togetic into Togekiss for your Pokémon to learn the charged attack “Aura Sphere”!
If you’re wondering what adventure spoils await, here is a list of special features during the event:

- 3-hour incense and lures

- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators during the event

- You have a chance to hatch a Togepi during raid hours from 2km eggs, with the possibility of it being shiny

- 3x the XP when catching Pokémon

- 2x the candy/candy XL when catching Pokémon

- +1 special trade for 50% less stardust

- Increased chance of photobombs
If you are craving more, in the shop you can purchase the special research task, Spreading Cheer, for $1 USD. While we are on the subject cheer, you can also gift the research task to friends you’ve obtained friendship levels with of “great friends” or higher!
