If midnight snacks and anime keep you up all night, “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” is just what you need!
Toonami will begin airing season five of the anime on March 18th, following the airing of the previous five seasons. Season five, which originally aired in 2020, will show the protagonist, Sōma Yukihara, making his way through yet another competition featuring tasty meals and suggestive themes.
“Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” premiered in September 2015, giving viewers a taste of both Soma’s horrifying creations and pleasure-inducing meals. The anime is filled with good friends, amazing cooking, and plenty of suggestive moments that will make viewers glad it’s airing at 1 AM.
While there may not be a sixth season in store for the anime, fans of “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” can tune in to Toonami to relive the thrill of the BLUE competition as Soma and his friends cook as they’ve never cooked before.
