The Evil Necromancer

The Evil Necromancer; no name, no allegiance. Just a mad titan of power that slew the king and stole away Princess Ignella for some nefarious purpose on top of the Dragon’s tower. Perhaps it was part of a much larger plan by killing the king and stealing the next in line for the crown, sending the kingdom into complete disarray, or making an opportunity for the brother to ascend to the throne rather than another being with a less dracomorph bloodline as their own.

Yuva

Yuva is a humble farmboy from the outreaches of the kingdom. His youthful vigor, coupled with the constant back-breaking labor of tending to his village’s needs, has made him undeniably strong for such a young lad. With the royal guard in shambles, they quickly reached out throughout the kingdom to conscript men like Yuva to fight in the Dragon’s tower to rescue the princess.

Captain Minsabelle

Princess Minsabelle, otherwise known by the royal guards as Captain Minsabelle. Stoic and proud, she leads the guard from a nearby watchpost overseeing the dragon’s tower with the solemn burden of sending those under her command to the tower to rescue her sister Ignella, but to no avail until Yuva and the rest arrive to turn the tide. Minsabelle wants to save her sister, but ultimately she does it to remain as the captain of the guard, and not get caught up in the politics of being next in line for the throne now that her king father is dead.

Calix and Enriquo

Calix and Eriquo came in before Yuva, barely escaping the Dragon’s tower. Calix is an avid swordsman, as well as well-knowledged of certain medicinal herbs found in the tower that save many lives, and ironically, his own. Enriquo, a sharpshooter with the bow and arrow, is a childhood friend of Lilicen. They both figure that since they’re a part of the royal guard, they’ve both believed they have a shot at marrying one of the princesses. Such thoughts keep them going in this already bleak duty to the crown that has placed them in such a position.

Lieutenant Rudeum

Lieutenant Rudeum is essentially second in command of the royal guard and Captain Minsabelle’s right hand. He’s led the guard into the Dragon’s tower many times already, only to return beaten and burned. However, even in defeat, Rudeum rises back up more determined than ever to take down the necromancer, more importantly, to rescue the troops that were in his care, who are trapped in the tower. With every attempt he goes on, he gains more insight into the monsters he faces, coming up with more ideas on how to take them down.

Lilicen

Lilicen, sorceress and friend of Eriquo. Born with the power of Barbitos, an unnatural gift to summon magic, she was immediately brought in to aid the kingdom. Even though she was trained at a young age, Lilicen tends to have a hot temper at times, which makes her lose control, causing her to do more harm than good. She went into the Dragon’s tower with the first wave of the royal guard, only to be thwarted and captured by the monster at the 50th level. She hates Yuva for saving her, but learns to like him for his bravery, which in turn makes her hate him even more. We guess, it’s hard to tell.

The Royal Parliament

The Royal Parliament is the political power in and around the throne. Its main purpose is to enforce any edict by the crown, but at the same time, it keeps the crown in order, set by the rules set in place by the monarchy. With the king dead, the eldest son being too unruly, and the princess being held hostage by the evil necromancer, they’ve arrived to have Minsabelle take the crown for herself in order to maintain stability in the kingdom.

The Dragon King

The Dragon King and brother to Minsabelle and Ignella. He and all who are related to the Dragon bloodline are affected with Dracomorph, a mutation that, if strong enough, allows the bearer to transform into a dragon. Not much is said about his mental state, but the royal parliament has deemed him unfit to rule in place of the dead king.
