Attention Bungo Stray Dogs (BSD) Southern California fans! The first ever Pop-Up Stray Dogs event, Port Mafia Winter Wonderland, is taking place December 14th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Almond Haus Cafe in Claremont, California.
"Bungo Stray Dogs" Pop-Up in Southern California
Co-hosted by Anime Fire’s own Editor-in-Chief Maddie Morrow, Jaclyn Himmer, and Kira Berg, this Bungo Stray Dogs pop-up event will have celebrity voice actors from the series, vendors, themed drinks with cupsleeves and coasters, a cosplay contest, raffle, and much more.
There are three ticket tiers, each with different perks:
General Admission – Oda Tier: FREE
- All-day access to the event
- Meeting voice actors and special guests, receiving exclusive event merch (I.e. cup sleeves, coasters, photocards, etc.), entering the raffle with the purchase of raffle tickets, entering the cosplay contest, and more!
Elevated Ticket – Chuuya Tier: $10
- Everything general admission gets plus:
- Guaranteed cupsleeve and additional merch
VIP Ticket (SOLD OUT) – Akutagawa Tier: $30
- Everything general admission ticket gets plus:
- ONE free drink of your choice from the themed menu, fast-track line for meeting voice actors and special guests, additional exclusive merch, and more
All attendees are required to show a QR Code at check in, regardless of ticket tiers. Get your tickets before November 28 to secure your spot for exclusive merch.
Four English voice actors from BSD will be attending and signing all day.

Themed Drinks and Activities
Almond Haus Cafe will have a specialty menu inspired by BSD:
- Dazai’s Enemies: Honey green milk tea with strawberry bits and boba
- Double Black: Passionfruit tea with lychee bits and strawberry popping boba
- Flawless: Milk tea with boba and crystal boba
- Rashoumon: jasmine green milk tea with strawberry popping boba
- Granters of Dark Disgrace: Dragonfruit mango tea with lychee fruit, strawberry, and boba
In addition to vendors, specialty drinks and voice actor signings, Port Mafia Winter Wonderland will have all day activity opportunities such as a photocard decorating station and a Yokohama backdrop photo op. The rest of the schedule is as follows:
- 2 p.m. – Mori lookalike activity
- Bring Bungo Stray Dogs Wan to life with silly props and photo ops! Give us your best (or worst) Mori impression with props provided. All participants will receive an exclusive pack of stickers!
- 4 p.m. – Cosplay Contest
- Show off your cosplays to our panel of judges! The winner of the contest will win a Barnes and Noble gift card, Bungo Stray Dogs plush, and a book by one of the in real life authors from the series. The runner-up will receive a plush.
- 5:30 p.m. – Raffle
- Raffle tickets will be available! VIP ticket holders will receive 5 with their ticket purchase. Elevated ticket holders will receive 2 tickets. Artists tabling at the event will have tickets as well to give those with a purchase of their artwork/merch.
