Anime Expo is one of the biggest anime conventions in the United States. It is no shock that Crunchyroll has a big presence. Their programming schedule for this year’s expo is extensive over the four day event. Here is the official programming for Days 3 and 4, Saturday July 6th and Sunday July 7th.
Crunchyroll's Anime Expo Day 3 Programming
At 10:30am PT on July 6th in the Diamond Ballroom of the JW Marriott, Crunchyroll and Kadokawa will present an exclusive look behind some of Kadokawa’s hottest anime, including a sneak peek of the upcoming film OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom. The panel is set to feature several notable Japanese guests, including voice actor Yusuke Kobayashi.
The Crunchyroll Industry Panel will be held at 5pm PT on day 3 in the LA Convention Center’s Petree Hall. Hosted by Crunchyroll’s Tim Lyu and Lauren Moore, this will be the company’s presentation of all the latest information on their anime and manga. Hopefully, this panel will include some exciting surprises and announcements.
Rounding out Saturday will be the long-anticipated exclusive premiere of episodes one and two of the second season of Tower of God in the Diamond Ballroom at 5:45pm PT.
Day 4 Programming
While only one event has been announced by Crunchyroll for Sunday July 7th, it is certainly a big one. A Jujutsu Kaisen panel will be held in the LA Convention Center at 10am PT. Special guests Junya Enoki (Japanese voice of Yuji Itadori), Shota Goshozono (Director of Season 2), and Keisuke Seshimo (Animation Lead Producer, MAPPA) will be there to talk about the smash hit series. With season 2 having wrapped up at the end of last year to great acclaim, this panel promises to be one fans of the series will not want to miss.
Crunchyroll is not holding back on its programming for this year’s Anime Expo. There are four days of premieres and panels for fans across all genres of anime. For those not attending the expo or unable to make it to any of the panels or premieres, Crunchyroll will be posting across their social media all weekend with highlights of panels, cosplay, fan interviews, and much more.
