Crunchyroll announced pre-orders of home video releases and limited edition Blu-ray box sets of the popular anime, My Dress-Up Darling coming November 7th. The box-set will include specials such as art cards, a calendar and planner, art book, and stickers. The standard version will also be available for fans to choose from.
There will be additional add-ins, such as BlueLock part 1, released on November 14 and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be available in 4K blu-ray on November 21.
Crunchyroll Releases: My Dress-Up Darling Box Set
My Dress-up Darling, written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda, focuses on the protagonist Wakana Gojo, who has a peculiar interest. He enjoys dressing and crafting hina dolls. Hina dolls are traditional Japanese dolls that represent the emperor, empress, and their court of the Heian period. They are dolls used to wish for the happiness, prosperity and growth of girls. Gojo hides his talents due to his lack of social interaction.
Gojo’s life becomes chaotic when he meets a classmate named Marin Kitagawa. When she discovers his unusual talent, she takes an interest and wishes to partake. Kitagawa has a love for cosplaying but she lacks the ability to craft on her own. This is where the relationship begins for Gojo and Kitagawa.
The complete DVD/blu-ray of My Dress-Up Darling includes special features such as dub cast and crew, Q&A, Marin’s cosplay breakdown, promo videos and textless opening and ending songs. Limited editions exclusives include 9 art cards, 16-month calendar and cosplay planner, sticker sheet, and 104 page art book.
BlueLock Specials
In the anime world of BlueLock, a new rigorous training program is created for the sole purpose of achieving Japan’s goal of winning the World Cup. This harsh and competitive training is set up in hopes of finding Japan’s top striker. Thus begins the vigorous training of three-hundred high school players. The players are pitted against each other in hopes of becoming the next hotshot. The suspense thickens when only one can remain in the end.
